1.) Power Thought - You ALWAYS Have Momentum

You know what momentum is, right? In basketball and hockey it is easy to see when a team has it working in their favor. Everything clicks for them. The shots are on goal, nothing but net and you knock out more teeth than the other guy. :)

Everyone has heard or said that a team on a hot streak has momentum, but how many of you realized that the teams on the losing streaks ALSO HAVE MOMENTUM? It's just in the wrong direction!

Momentum is simply what seems to be an irresistible pull and and inevitability of some act or conclusion.

Hmmmmn. Irresistible. Inevitable. What do these words conjure in your mind's eye? Are they images of positive things or negative? Both imply that you cannot do anything to change the outcome. That, of course, is totally wrong.

Your actions are what makes those outcomes irresistible and inevitable, whether it is impending success or failure. You are always moving in a direction, good or bad. There is no one alive that is not. Anyone not moving in a direction is no longer alive.

When you do certain, consistent actions, you get certain, consistent results. Those results over a period of time (short or long depending on their power) create those feelings of irresistibility and inevitability. You decide what your actions will be. You decide how to represent those results. You decide what kind of momentum you will have.

Choose wisely.

This is the home of Marcia Zimmerman. She is an incredible resource on what good nutrition is. She takes hard to understand material and makes it easy to "get". She has awesome info on how you can combat many disorders, diseases, syndromes and other ailments by taking the proper mix of minerals, vitamins and other essential items we deprive our bodies of on a regular basis.

I heard Marcia live in Nashville back in February. She was speaking at a training for a company I am an independent Professional with called Youngevity. 4.) Main Article - Your Reality Is What You Attract To It

That is one concept that I would bet many people don't want to acknowledge or even consider. But do think about it. What are the things that you think about and focus on in your life?

Three Questions:

1. Did you know that everyone is magnetic?

2. Do you know what makes them magnetic?

3. Did you know that, unlike a natural magnet, people can change what they attract and repel?

The Answers and Commentaries:

1. How often do you get what you are expecting? Did you REALLY expect the boss to give you that raise? Did you REALLY expect that special someone to say yes when you approached them? Did you REALLY expect to hit a homerun?

Most people think about, and by extension, expect the bad, the negative and the worst possible outcome. And few are ever disappointed. You really do get the things you focus on and work toward. Are your actions working on manifesting magnificent results? Why not?

2. The thing that makes people magnetic is simply their mindset. As I said before, this is set of beliefs and the expectations that you have. You believe you will make that sale and expect to. So you do. If you truly expect the worst, that is what you get.

3. So, how do we change it? How do we attract that which we want to attract? We need to see what attitudes and behaviors are causes for the results we seek. Now we need to adopt these same attitudes and behaviors. Only by changing these can you change anything.

If you want to be a master salesman in the month of July, do you wait until July 27th to start selling, you probably won't make it.

You didn't change anything. I was making my regular prospecting calls this week and I have noticed an incredible difference in the responses I get. I have finally learned to EXPECT to get someone to join my business. I now have people emailing me asking to be kept in the loop as it were and wanting to meet. All it took was a change in the mindset. That's all. :)

Seriously, I have only recently changed the beliefs I hold while calling. I work from a position of strength. I have posture which means knowing that I am successful and that my opportunity is the best. I expect people to listen to the overview call and to speak with some of my partners. I do not work with the assumption that I need them. They need me. If they aren't interested, I will move on to the next. And the next. And the next. And the next.

Working from Strength is appealing to prospects because they want people to lead them and to provide guidance. This is true in just about all professions. People are attracted to the quiet surety of confidence.

I changed my mindset. My mindset changed my results. I began to attract a different reality to me. That reality was quite powerful in that it leads to success and fortune. That is the reality I dwell upon and in.
