We are just into the second week of the New Year, 2002 and already it seems like there's not enough time to do all the things in front of me! :) It's going to be an awesome year at SuccessManiacs.com and Fric and Frac Productions.

We have several products ready to hit our virtual shelves as soon as we finish a few things at the website. For now you can order them by sending a check to us. I know... It's totally archaic by today's standards, but soon we will have the store finished and will be adding products.

Right now we have Treat Your Business Like a Business which is on special (see Item 5. Promotions), The 5 Adversaries of MLM and Fric and Frac on Network Marketing. These are all tapes and soon we will be offering 2 brand new programs that will knock your socks off! These programs will teach you some fundamentals as we have been taught. These programs will help you get started on the right foot and also to re-focus yourself if you have gotten off track.

I won't say more, but keep looking for them at the website!

Also coming soon will be some a selection of articles and free information. That section should be up and running in about a week or so and will be updated at least weekly.

2.) Power Thought – How Long Can You Stand It?

How long can you stand it?

'Stand what?' you ask.

'Your current situation...' I reply.

Most people seeking self-development and business building help are in ruts or drifting without aim. They are looking for direction and help. Sure, there are many who also read everything they can because they are 'students of the game'. But I think most people aren't far enough along the learning curve to really be students of the game yet.

So I ask those 'non-students', and some students too, how long can you stand to be in your current situation? How long before you have had enough and will do whatever it takes to change... to create success in your life?

As I have moved from not knowing where I was going to having a definite vision and set of goals for my future, I have noticed that the major leaps forward or the major life-changing events almost always happened as a result of not being willing to take any more of my current circumstances.

Have you ever gotten fed up with a job that you quit or started looking immediately?

Have you ever gotten so ticked off that something wasn't working that you devoted all your efforts to MAKING it work?

These situations have 1 thing in common. Strong emotions. Emotions that mean you are no longer willing to accept the status quo. You would no longer take whatever comes your way. You would do anything to change it.

When you are like this, the world better watch out!

When you just accept what happens and believe you are doing the best you can 'under the circumstances' YOU had better watch out!

Napolean Hill talked about Inspirational Dissatisfaction in Think and Grow Rich. I think this is one of the best ideas ever. At some point just about everyone gets fed up with something in life, especially if it affects your quality of life and your family's.

That is when Inspirational Dissatisfaction can come into play. You get fed up and your mind starts working on a way to get out, to get better or to get ahead. You start moving in a new direction because you were no longer willing to live with it.

So, how much longer can YOU stand it?

3.) Recommended Resource – The DNA of Success Website

The DNA of Success is run by Jack Zufelt. Zufelt is one of those rare people that can really cut to the core with an idea. His site contains a free ezine published semi-regularly. It has some truly awesome material in it as well. The site also sells the DNA of Success program for a bargain at $67.

Frac has it and raves over it. He will be doing a review on this program shortly for the ezine.

4.) Article – Unconditional Success

While recording our last tape, The 5 Adversaries of MLM, Frac and I were talking about one of the concepts... Unconditional Success and its antithesis, Unconditional Surrender.

This concept is so important I thought we should share it in the ezine as well.Unconditional is usually associated with the term 'unconditional surrender' on a battlefield. That is when one side basically says, 'I am so defeated that I can no longer fight. I give up and am too weak to argue the terms. You may do what you wish to me.'

Think about that for a moment and how often we see that attitude in people about life and success. So many people have unconditionally surrendered in life that they no longer fight for success, for opportunity or for anything more than what they have.

When that happens, they are spiritually conquered. They have so given up that they almost never will recover. People who unconditionally surrender to the obstacles that EVERYONE faces generally become the ones most likely to place obstacles on YOUR path to success.

You must recognize this. When you are working toward goals that will take you to new levels, how many times has someone you know said, 'Nobody ever makes money doing that!' Or, 'That's illegal! You're going to jail if you keep doing that!' What about, 'What do you know about that? You can't possibly do that!'

We have all heard at least some of things I bet. I know I have. Still do sometimes too.

These can be devastating to many people, because it's so personally insulting and deflating. You have just been told by someone you likely (maybe used to) care about that you are essentially an idiot.

That's not me being rude. That is me boiling down these comments to their essential truth.

Only someone who has surrendered and given up hope will say these things to you. If they have given up, what makes them an expert on such issues? Does Donald Trump or Warren Buffet or Bill Gates go down to the welfare office for business advice?

Of course not. They don't listen to people who are negative. And neither should you.

Then there are those that have an attitude of Conditional Surrender/Success. These are really the same thing. If you put conditions upon success, you will fail. Success will almost always come in a time, manner and fashion that we could not predict. Therefore it will not meet your initial conditions.

Too many people create Conditional Success/Surrender by having unrealistic requirements for success. When these are not met, they fail. They quit. They give up. Tony Robbins talks about one gentleman who said to be successful you must be making $4 million/year (he was only making about $2 million/year), have an absurdly low body fat percentage, a perfect marriage, a perfect relationship with his kids and a lot of other things.

He had well defined goals... but he could NEVER meet them. THAT is Conditional Success/Surrender, and it NEVER leads to Success.

Instead, how about developing an attitude of Unconditional SUCCESS.

Unconditional Success means you are not willing to give up. No matter how hard you get hit, you will get back up. No matter the obstacles, you will overcome them. No matter the naysayers, you will prove them wrong.

You won't have silly conditions for success either. Some people will start a new venture and tell themselves that if they aren't making 6 figures in 90 days, it doesn't work... time for a new one (or to quit altogether).

That is having unreasonable expectations. Unreasonable expectations always lead you to unconditional surrender. ALWAYS.

You must be reasonable with out being too easy to accomplish. You must be stubborn, but not pig-headed. If something truly isn't working, then change it, fix it, replace it, etc. But don't quit!

Unconditional Success is the attitude that you can do what you set your mind to. It's hard sometimes too. When no money is coming in, the creditors are calling and the bills are piling up, it is so tempting to surrender. At moments like this I believe you are mere steps from success. This is when you can no longer NOT succeed. Something wells up from deep inside you that says 'ENOUGH!'

When that happens, things will start to happen for you because you refuse to surrender. You look for ways to change circumstances. You look for ways to create change.

Unconditional Success will help you conquer the fear, the uncertainty and the doubts of life IF YOU LET IT.

That is so important. Will you let it?

Success or Surrender.

In the end it's unconditional either way. You either give up totally or succeed totally. The starting point is in your attitude.
