Promotions - The Five Adversaries of MLM Tape 6.) Pass It Along 1.) Publisher's Note Sorry this issue is going out so late... Been busy with new projects and contracts and other wonderful things. :) We are working on some fantastic new things to offer at the website, which is unavoidably down for maintenance for a day or two. Our apologies to those going to the site and not finding us. Its already February... Where did the time go? Have you set your goals yet? Have you started working toward them yet? Just a friendly reminder that NOW is the time to start... And it is never too late to begin! Just a heads-up that Fric and Frac will soon have the third and final tape completed of our 3 tape set. The first tape is called Treat Your Business Like a Business. The second is The Five Adversaries of MLM. The final tape is Deadbeat Sponsors (How to and How NOT to). Individually, these tapes will cost you almost $28. As a set we are going to offer them at a price of $25 for all three. Keep watching this space and the website for more information. 2.) Power Thought - Do You Know Where You Are Going? Simple question... Simple concept... POWERFUL implications... In my own experience I have found that the times where I was down, lost, not knowing what to do, how to do it or even why to do it were the times that I simply didn't know or couldn't/wouldnt focus on where I was headed... When you do not know where you are headed, what is your destination? NOWHERE. That is why goals and vision is so important. They remind you where you are going and why you are going there. Not to mention how you will get there. There are a million (ok, maybe not literally) programs, columns, tapes, videos, seminars and websites on goal-setting. Why? Because they are that important! If you don't have goals, get some goal-setting tapes, books or other kind of help. Set the goals. Now work the plan to achieve them. 3.) Recommended Resource - Goals On-Line Goals On-Line is an interesting website that walks you through the goal-setting process online. You can track and manage your goals entirely from this website. Shad Helmstetter is the man behind this site. He is renowned for his Self-Talk series and focus on how and what you say to yourself. Shad always has some powerful trainings. The site has the following features:
1 through 4 will cost you only $10 a month. Adding #5 will put the cost at $15 and all 8 will be $20 a month. Pretty good bargain. Definitely a site to check out. 4.) Article - Understanding and Believing in the Possibilities If you are interested in creating a better life for yourself and your family and I have to assume that is true or you wouldn't be reading this, then you absolutely must have certain abilities... These are the ability to see, to understand, believe in and have faith in the POSSIBILITIES... These four things are incredible difficult for most people. A good number of people can see the possibilities, if not for themselves, then for others. A bit less can understand the possibilities and how they work are can be accessed. Less still can believe in the possibilities for themselves and others. Finally, an even smaller percentage can have faith that the possibilities can work for them. These four abilities represent what I call the Hierarchy of Success. It is similar to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. The one on the bottom represents the most basic need (life and sustenance) and as you move up, the needs become less survival oriented and more self-development oriented (self-actualization). Level Zero is simply Blindness. It is the inability to see possibilities, opportunities and what can be. Unfortunately, I believe that most people live at this level. They are trained both at home and school to believe in getting an education, and a good job. That a good job is the way to success in life. Level One of the Hierarchy of Success is Seeing. It is the most basic level. You have to be there and fully internalize it before you move on to Level Two. Seeing is about opening your mind to the possibilities for you and others. Level
Two is Understanding. When you begin to see the possibilities, your
mind starts to ask questions about them. Assuming you begin to develop
an open mind, then you will start to get answers as to the nature of
opportunity and possibilities. You will begin to understand that they
exist and are Level Three is Belief. This is when things get really interesting. You begin to not just see them and understand them, but you begin to believe that you can access them yourself. You see the possibilities and opportunities as something for everyone. You will start to visualize yourself and others having and accessing the possibilities. Level
Four is Faith. Faith that opportunities and possibilities are going
to happen... that you are going to access them and that they will work
out. Faith is the absolutely most powerful and important of the levels.
Without achieving this level on the hierarchy, no one can be successful
for an extended When you achieve Faith, you are sure that what you are pursuing will be yours. You are sure that others can and will be successful. Without this, nothing else is lasting. So, where are you now? Hopefully on the way to Level Four... Hope to see you when you get here. :) To your success! Tim
